Privacy
How we process data
This is a translation. The Polish version (/prywatnosc/) is the binding one.
We count visits anonymously, without cookies, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (cookies, statistics of visits and pages, shortened IP address) is switched on only after you consent in the banner; you can change your choice with the "Cookies" link in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies. We collect personal data only when we grant access to the calculators, when someone fills in the contact form or when someone emails us.
Controller
The data controller is NKG (New Knowledge for Growth). Contact for personal data matters: kontakt@nkg.pl.
What data and why
- Calculator account: the name, company and email address you give when asking for access, and the list of calculators you have access to. Purpose: giving you access to the calculators at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Access log: logins, wrong passwords, calculator openings and logouts, with the date, country, browser type and a hash of the IP address. We do not store the raw IP address. Purpose: access security, detecting password-guessing attempts and knowing which tools are used (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Feedback questionnaire: your rating, your comments and your contact details, if you give them. Purpose: improving the calculators and replying to your feedback (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Giving contact details is optional.
- Contact form: name, email, company (optional), topic, message, how you heard about us (optional), the parameters of the link that brought you to the site (UTM), a hash of the IP address and the country. We do not store the raw IP address. Purpose: replying to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). If you tick the separate, optional consent box, we will also send you information about calculators and reports (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw this consent at any time.
- Email correspondence: whatever you write to us. Purpose: replying and continuing the conversation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookie
After you log in to the calculators, your browser receives one session cookie, nkg_konsola, valid for 12 hours. It is necessary for login to work and is not used for tracking. Logging out also invalidates it on our side.
How long
- Access log and questionnaire feedback: 12 months, after which we delete them automatically.
- Account data: until access is revoked. At your request we delete the account straight away.
- Form submissions and correspondence: for as long as the conversation or cooperation lasts; after that, at your request, we delete them straight away.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Who else has access
We store data on Cloudflare infrastructure (website hosting, login, database and protection of the form against bots via the Turnstile service) and with our email provider. We also pass contact form submissions to a CRM system (HubSpot) and send notifications about them through an email service (Resend). These providers act on our behalf. Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell data or pass it on to other companies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to kontakt@nkg.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
